GLENVILLE, WV – Members of the �鶹��Ƶ���� Concert Band will perform their annual spring concert on Friday, April 28 at 7:00 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center Auditorium.

The concert will include standard concert band classics, pop selections, a collection celebrating the music of Disney, and pieces from the “How to Train Your Dragon” movie series. Admission is free.

“This has been a big year for all of our student musicians and I cannot stress how hard they have worked over these last few months,” said Associate Professor of Music and Marching, Pep, and Concert Band Director, Dr. Lloyd Bone. “The culmination of this semester with our annual Concert Band Concert and the Honor Band Weekend is something we hope to share with as many members of the community as possible.”

The Concert Band concert is being held in conjunction with the thirteenth annual �鶹��Ƶ���� Honor Band. Over 100 high school and middle school students from around West Virginia are scheduled to be in attendance. The Honor Band concert takes place on Saturday, April 29 at 2:00 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center Auditorium. This year’s guest Honor Band conductor is Glenville State alumnus Fred Channell of Lincoln High School.
