GLENVILLE, WV โ€“ Following recent approvals from the Higher Learning Commission and the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission, ย้ถนสำฦตนูอ๘ is now able to offer a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.

โ€œย้ถนสำฦตนูอ๘ is proud to be adding a Master of Business Administration degree to its list of graduate programs,โ€ said Dr. Mark A. Manchin, President of Glenville State. โ€œWe know this is a program that is in-demand and it helps students deepen their understanding of an everchanging business landscape and gives them a leg up on their competition.โ€

ย้ถนสำฦตนูอ๘โ€™s MBA program is designed to provide an educational opportunity focused on the practical application of a theoretical approach to business in accordance with Glenville Stateโ€™s mission. The program consists of 36 credit hours โ€“ 21 credit hours in the MBA core and 15 elective hours โ€“ using an accelerated eight-week format.

โ€œThe MBA program is a wonderful opportunity for our region, the state, and beyond. I am so proud of the hard work of Drs. Dwight Heaster, Kandas Queen, and Mark Sarver and the rest of their business faculty colleagues in envisioning this initiative and bringing it to fruition. This is a game changer for Glenville State and for our state,โ€ said Dr. Mari Clements, Interim Provost.

To be accepted into the program, applicants must have a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.75 or higher or transfer graduate credit of at least six hours with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Applicants must submit all undergraduate transcripts (and graduate transcripts, if applicable), an application for admission, and a professional resume.

International students are eligible to enroll in the hybrid program. International students must submit their attested transcript from an undergraduate university as part of their admissions file. An institutionally recognized course evaluation firm must complete a course-by-course evaluation.

Those entering the program without a degree in business will need to complete Applied Managerial Accounting and Applied Managerial Theories as part of their 15 elective credit hours.
