Criminal Justice Students Represent GSC at Regional Conference

Ceremony held to Break Ground on Greenhouse at GSC

Glenville State College on Friday broke ground on the newest addition to its campus facilities, a greenhouse. The new space will be located in the open area behind college housing and adjacent to the Waco Center on the College’s Mineral Road Campus.

Annual Literary Magazine Open for Submissions

The Trillium, Glenville State College’s literary and arts journal, is open for submissions for the 2017 issue. All GSC students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community members are invited to submit visual art, poetry, fiction, song lyrics, and other forms of creative expression.
Chi Beta Phi Members Participate in National Conference

On Saturday, October 1, 2016, eleven members of the Alpha Iota Chapter of Chi Beta Phi and two other members of the Glenville State College community attended the 69th National Conference of Chi Beta Phi. The conference was hosted by the Zeta Chapter of the organization at the Eshelman Science Center on the Davis & Elkins College campus in Elkins, West Virginia.

Glenville State College faculty members spent part of their summer in Puebla, Mexico to take part in a Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) summit. The group also included faculty members from other West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission (WVHEPC) institutions and was organized by GSC Associate Professor of Spanish and WVHEPC COIL Coordinator Dr. Megan Gibbons.
