Local artists and writers are invited to submit items for the 2016 issue of the Trillium, Glenville State College’s literary arts journal. The Trillium is a collection of artwork, poetry, fiction, song lyrics, and other forms of creative expression.
GSC Alumnus Returning to Campus for Guest Lecture

Timothy Henline, a 2009 Glenville State College graduate, is returning to his alma mater on Thursday, December 3 to deliver a presentation about his educational and business experiences. The presentation will begin at 12:30 p.m. in room 100 of the Heflin Administration Building.
Graduate Returning to GSC for Guest Lecture

Ken Kuhl, Vice President of Event Development at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas and a 1982 Glenville State College graduate, is returning to his alma mater on Friday, November 13 to deliver a presentation about his background, education, and work experience. The presentation will begin at noon in GSC's Mollohan Campus Community Center Ballroom.
GSC Graduate to Display Artwork during Homecoming Week

Community Invited to Participate in GSC Homecoming Parade

Local community groups, classic car owners, businesses, marching bands, and others are invited to participate in the 2015 Glenville State College Homecoming Parade. The parade will begin on Saturday, September 26 at 10:00 a.m. in downtown Glenville.
GSC Announces 2015 Homecoming Schedule

The Glenville State College Student Government Association and the Homecoming Committee have planned a number of activities for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends during the week of September 21 for GSC’s annual Homecoming celebration. This year’s theme is ‘GSC ♥’s the 90’s’ – which celebrates the entertainment, fashion, and more from the 1990s. Honored guests will include GSC’s former Student Body Presidents, who will also serve collectively as Parade Marshal for the Saturday morning parade. Additionally, all alumni are encouraged to attend the alumni tailgate before the football game on Saturday afternoon.

Nine Students Graduate from Hidden Promise Program

Nine Glenville State College Hidden Promise Scholars (HPS), Gabriella Brown, Kaitlin Deem, Seth Doss, Caitlin Gwinn, Ryan Hubbard, Madison Martin, Travis Nesbitt, Corie Nicholson, and Rockelle Shackelford, were recognized as graduates of the Hidden Promise program at a ceremony held at the end of April.
GSC Celebrates Alumni Day 2015

Glenville State College graduates and friends gathered on campus for the 2015 Alumni Day on Saturday, April 25th. A day full of activities culminated with the annual Alumni Banquet in the Mollohan Campus Community Center Ballroom. Those in attendance enjoyed a buffet dinner and the presentation of the 2015 GSC Alumni Association award recipients.
Academically Talented Students Honored at GSC

Twenty-three members of Glenville State College’s Class of 2015 received ceremonial stoles recognizing them as honor graduates at an Honor Graduates Reception on May 7 at the home of GSC President Peter Barr and his wife Betsy. Students with grade point averages between 3.85 and 4.00 are acknowledged as summa cum laude, GPAs between 3.70 and 3.84 are recognized as magna cum laude, and GPAs between 3.50 and 3.69 are honored as cum laude.
