GSC Professor to Perform with House of Blues Band in Glenville
The N’Tranze Band, featuring Glenville State College Assistant Professor of Music Jason Barr, will give a free concert at the GSC Rusty Musket on Thursday, February 25 at 7:00 p.m. followed by an encore performance at the Pioneer Grille restaurant on Friday, February 26 at 8:00 p.m.
GSC Tuba and Euphonium Ensemble on International Stage Again
The Glenville State College Tuba and Euphonium Ensemble, under the direction of GSC Assistant Professor of Music and Department of Fine Arts Chair Dr. Lloyd E. Bone Jr., was one of only 45 tuba and euphonium ensembles from around the world invited to perform at the 2016 International Tuba and Euphonium Conference (ITEC) at the University of Tennessee.

Art Day Being Planned at GSC
Art students, parents, alumni, and educators are invited to Glenville State College on Saturday, December 5 for Art Day. The annual event highlights the exciting degree programs in Studio Art and Graphics and Digital Media at GSC. The day will provide visitors with the opportunity to work directly with GSC faculty and current art students for a day of workshops supported by the art faculty.
Guest Tuba and Euphonium Artist Coming to GSC
The Glenville State College Fine Arts Department will play host to George Palton for a guest artist tuba recital on Thursday, October 15 beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center Auditorium. The event will be open to the public and is free to attend.
Event to Feature GSC Marching Band
The Glenville State College 'Wall of Sound' Marching Band will have a feature performance at the Glenville Presbyterian Church 'Band Bash' coming up on Friday, August 21. The event will take place from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with the band performance beginning at 6:30 p.m.
