Abigail Johnson, a student at Glenville State College, is the recipient of the Appalachian Vegetation Management Association (AVMA) Roger Latham Memorial Award and the West Virginia Christmas Tree Grower鈥檚 Association (WVCTGA) Arnold Spitzen Memorial Forestry Scholarship for the 2019-2020 academic year.
GSC Department of Land Resources Receives Research Grant

The Glenville State College Department of Land Resources has received a grant from the West Virginia Science and Research Opportunity Grants Program to focus on enhancing undergraduate research in ecology in the natural resource management program through a unique international research experience in Japan.
Presentation on Unmanned Aircraft Usage in Forestry Coming to GSC

Rodger Ozburn, an Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Program Manager for the West Virginia Division of Forestry, will be at Glenville State College on Thursday, September 26 at 12:15 p.m. for a presentation titled 鈥淔oresters Taking Flight.鈥 The presentation will take place in room 227/228 of the Waco Center and is free and open to the public.
