Youth Bluegrass Camp Planned at Glenville State College Bluegrass Music Education Center during WV State Folk Festival

Little Kanawha Reading Series to Hold Socially Distant Reading at Glenville State

Glenville State College’s Pioneer Stage will be the site of the first Little Kanawha Reading Series event for fall 2020. The writer Danielle Kelly will read her new fiction and there will also be readings from contributors to the 2020 Trillium. It will be held on Wednesday, August 26 at 6:00 p.m.

Organizers at Glenville State College’s Pioneer Stage have applied for and been awarded a $10,000 grant from the West Virginia Humanities Council as part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act.

The Glenville State College Bluegrass Program has recently relocated to The Pioneer Stage at 10 East Main Street in downtown Glenville. The Pioneer Stage will serve as the Bluegrass Music Education Center for GSC and will be open to the public after the grand opening.
